Who does Sancho see running down the street?

Sancho's Unexpected Encounter

Sancho had just finished his morning coffee when he heard the sound of hurried footsteps coming from outside. Curious, he went to the window to see who it was. To his surprise, Sancho saw a figure running down the street at full speed.

Billy Jo, the neighbor's son, was known for his impulsive behavior, but he was nowhere to be seen this morning. William, the old man who lived next door, was usually the first one to go on his morning walk, but he was still in his house. Mrs. Morningstar, the elderly lady who lived across the street, rarely left her home, so it couldn't be her.

Sancho squinted his eyes to get a better look. As the figure came closer, he realized it was the zoo receptionist, William. Sancho couldn't understand why William was running down the street in such a hurry.

As he watched William disappear around the corner, Sancho wondered what had caused the receptionist to dash off like that. Was there an emergency at the zoo? Or maybe William had simply overslept and was late for work.
