VLANs: What You Need to Know

What are the reserved VLANs that cannot be used? VLANs 0 and 4095 are reserved and cannot be used.

Similarly, VLAN 4095 is often designated as a discard VLAN and reserved for system use. It's important to avoid using these VLANs to prevent any network configuration issues.

The valid VLAN ID range for user-defined VLANs is from 1 to 4094. This range allows for plenty of flexibility in setting up VLANs for different purposes within the network.
