Displacement reactions involve one or two groups of reactants displacing each other. There are two types of displacement reactions: double displacement where AB + CD → AC + BD, and single displacement where AB + C → AC + B.
Combustion reactions are reactions with oxygen that result in the formation of carbon dioxide and water.
